What are your hobbies?

Oh boy, this is a fun one to try to answer. Lately I’ve been telling people my hobby is hobbies. There’s too many amazing things out there to try to experience and learn about to pick just one! Over the last 15 years I’ve dabbled in:

Amateur Radio, Painting, Brewing, Music, Camping, Kayaking/Canoeing, Hiking, Shooting Sports, the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), Glass Art, Electronics, Photography, Fresh and Saltwater Aquaria… I’m sure I’m forgetting a few.

I just get carried away and one hobby just seems to lead me down the path of learning another!

So why here and now, and what’s with the funny domain name?

The domain name comes from my Amateur Radio call sign! As you’ll quickly find out one of my many interests is Amateur Radio and I found myself in need of learning the wordpress platform to help maintain and build websites for my local amateur radio clubs.

So I took the opportunity to buy up the domain name of my call sign (KE8ICM) and used it as a test platform for a few weeks while I migrated a clubs website. When i was finished I moved everything over to the clubs domain name and decided the platform was easy enough to modify and update why not create a site for my self and use it to document my hobbies.
